Welcome to BLUE AQUA – German Diving Center
We are a German and English speaking diving center.
The diving center is located in beautiful Safaga / Egypt in the ‘Sun Beach Hotel Safaga’. Hurghada Airport is 40 minutes away.
In addition to classic diving courses (SSI & PADI), the diving center offers many other services, such as various boat trips or special dives.

We dived with Blue Aqua for a couple of days. Weâd happily have stayed a month! It was such a lovely set up, getting everything right. Spacious, comfortable dive school with lockers for every diver. Everything was so organised and slick. We dived the house reef with Saed. The house reef was superb, a really easy entrance and then diving with octopus, a huge turtle, and lovely little reefs. The following day we went out on the boat, also lovely, a great team of professionals and 2 more lovely dives with Tariq. Weâre English and were expecting to have to muddle with our bit of German from school, but everyone was welcoming and fluent with us too - not at all expected but lovely. Weâll be back!

Our dive guide, Taha, has an incredible eye for even the smallest or most well-hidden creatures underwater and truly makes every dive a highlight. The selected dive sites are beautiful, diverse, and absolutely worthwhile. The boat crew is also very friendly and helpful!
The entire dive center is run by Mustafa and Selina with great passion, organizational talent, and attention to detail â you feel welcome and well cared for from the very first minute.

Blue Aqua Dive Center is simply fantastic! Sonja completed her Open Water Diver certification there after her first dive, and I was fortunate enough to enjoy six wonderfully varied dives. The entire team â Mostafa, Mustafa, Selina, Bella, and Tarek â was incredibly friendly and professional. With great care and attention, they instilled in us all the joy of diving. Anyone wanting to dive in Egypt will find this to be the perfect place. We'll definitely be back!

What can I say? This dive center deserves more than 5 stars. It's extremely well organized, and the price-performance ratio is excellent. The team is friendly and competent. On the first day, we opted for a check dive on the house reef to get back into the swing of things. Many thanks to Said for that. He was very patient with our initial difficulties, and we had a wonderful house reef dive. 🤩
The next few days, we went out by boat. Two dives every day at different spots.
All our wishes and needs were met without any problems.
I highly recommend this dive center. The staff speak English and German without any problems.

A week of the finest diving in September 2025. Picked up on time every day from the Jaz Hotel and brought back to the center after a decompression beer or two. After 40 years of diving trips around the world, my buddy introduced me to the best dive center with the best value in the EC. And I know many dive centers in the EC. All the rental equipment and technology is new. Delicious lunch on the boat with several dishes to choose from, 5 euros, soft drinks, 1 euro, and water 0.50 euros. Free coffee and tea. Decompression beer at the center, 2 euros. Three dives every day. If you want to take a diving course in German, Selina and Mustafa are in good hands at this center.

When we arrived at the diving school and were interested in a trial dive, we met Mostafa. The next morning, we set off. A test dive, as my partner was pulled underwater by a (different) diving instructor on the last dive and was left with a minor trauma. Thanks to Mostafa's super friendly and patient manner, the dive was, let's say... ultimately successful.
Following the trial dive, we immediately attended a three-day course for the diving license, which we successfully passed.

5 stars â Diving felt like diving with friends with maximum flexibility and top-notch organization
I spent 10 days there at Blue Aqua â German Diving Center in Safaga, where I completed both recreational dives and the SSI Deep Diver and Decompression Specialty courses. Even beforehand, all communication via WhatsApp was exemplary and fast. Questions about solo dives, sidemount, nitrox, decompression dives, and course prerequisites were answered competently and friendly within a very short time.
Booking & E-Learning
Booking both of my courses was easy via a payment link. Immediately afterward, I was given access to the online learning modules and was able to work through the entire theory at home in peace. Even questions about the app or registration were answered promptly and helpfully.
On-site Procedure
On-site, the dive center was just as well organized as advertised in advance. The equipment is in perfect condition, and cylinder sizes and gases were prepared as requested (I dived almost exclusively with 15L Nitrox). Individual requests, such as a 6L pony bottle for solo diving on the house reef, were also accommodated. The dive plan was flexible and was immediately adapted to spontaneous changes. Even when I wanted to dive for two days at another center, I received friendly supportâsomething you don't take for granted and speaks volumes about true customer service.
Courses & Dives
The Deep Diver and Decompression courses were excellently organized. Three and four well-planned dives on the boat, respectively, with briefings, debriefings, and competent support from highly experienced guides and instructors. Theory and practice were perfectly coordinated. There was never a rush; everything took place in a relaxed yet professional atmosphere.
I also participated in several boat trips outside of the courses, always with the option to choose between different depths and dive spots. Requests such as shallow dives on the last day at 15â20 meters with 15L Nitrox and a guide were accommodated at short notice. The dive sites around Safaga are absolutely worth seeingâincluding eagle rays, dolphins, and amazing reefs.
Service & Team
The entire team is extremely friendly, helpful, and easy-going. You don't feel like a paying guest here, but rather a welcome part of the diving community. The organization, safety, and equipment are top-notch, but without forgetting the fun of diving.

We spent a week diving with Blue Aqua in January 2025. The center was lovingly renovated by Selina and Mustafa to create a very nice and comfortable dive center and reopened in 2024. The rental equipment is in excellent condition.
The divers' skill level is taken into consideration, and individual requests are accommodated whenever possible, even if this means the center team goes the extra mile. It was fantastic.
Boat excursions are offered daily. The boat crew and the food were also great.
We can recommend this center without reservation.

It was a great experience going out with the group.
Everyone was incredibly courteous and friendly.
Most of them also speak really good German, which was important to me as a beginner diver.
Mostafa is a really good diving instructor with whom you can always have a laugh between dives. I did my Advanced course with him and can highly recommend him.
Since I also dived with Mustafa and Said, I can say that I would go underwater with the others (again) anytime. You feel like you're in good hands with everyone.
And I'd also like to thank Youssef and co, who help out on land đ You're great!

I was at Blue Aqua Diving Center last week and was impressed with their new and renovated center! All new equipment, Selina, the manager, is wonderful, responsive and knowledgeable. The diving center is very professional, the instructors experienced and I felt good at all times. Plus my four dives were fantastic.
Highly recommended and I will be back for sure!

I was in Safaga in mid-February 2025 and wanted to go diving again after a 9-year break from diving. I booked a refresher dive with Blue Aqua and then another dive. I got Mustafa as a guide. On the boat he explained everything that we will practice later down on the seabed. After the long break, it was good and reassuring to have all the equipment and how to put it on explained again. Everything was totally relaxed and it was a pleasure to get back into diving with Mustafa.
Everything has already been said about the Aqua Blue diving center in the many other reviews and I can only agree with everything, absolutely everything. A top diving center that is highly recommended. I would be happy to come back when I get the chance.

Nice diving center. The owners are really nice... the team is also in a great mood.
I dived with the Blue Aqua team for 10 days. Taha was my guide most of the time and he did a great job. I always felt comfortable and in good hands.
Selina and Mustafa are there with all their hearts and always have a smile on their faces đ

It was a wonderful week of diving.
Different reefs are visited daily. The entire team is super friendly and well-organized, even accommodating last-minute requests. The equipment is in top condition. The food on the boat was always delicious. Taha is one of the best dive guides in Egypt.

This brand new totally renewed diving center is probably the most amazing I came across to!!!
I'm a french N3 and Divemaster with 200 dives and I highly and warmly recommend you to join this centre!!
The place is absolutely delightful, all the equipment is brand new, the absolute wonder boat, Prince Ali One takes us to the diving spots where it's just Paradise (today I saw 4 eagle rays, a 2m long murena swimming in front of me, and I Will pass the outnumbered other fish 🐠 octopus 🐙 etc
Of course, the team is composed of experts,.the atmosphere is relaxed
There are German, English and Arabic languages spoken there!
I chose this school and not the one in the hotel (Paradise Abu Soma hotel), because they offer you more possibilities of dive packaging (only House reefs from the shore), half day on the boat with 2 dives, or full days (the other school only full days)
From the hotel it's 5mn walk through the public beach..
